Lugano Savosa Youth Hostel

We had such a great stay at this family-run hostel! the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful, especially Maria. the beds were comfortable and the rooms and facilities were clean. the hostel grounds were beautiful, like a tropical garden. It was in a nice, quiet neighborhood but still close to the central activity of the city. the restaurant across the street, La Ticinella, was highly recommended and reasonably priced. the coffee shop down the street had delicious cappuccinos. a lot of value for our money.

The staff were amazing, always willing to help with any questions I had about the city. the outdoor pool was a great addition, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm weather. the hostel also had a lovely breakfast and clean rooms with lockers for storage.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and it was hard to regulate the temperature in the room during the night. some amenities like soap and shampoo were not provided and we were asked to bring back the bed sheets at check-out.

fantastic hostel with great amenities! all female dorm was comfortable and clean. individual lights and power outlets in each bunk. breakfast was worth it with a great choice of food. staff helpful in providing activities and knowledgeable in public transport. free transport in lugano.

After an 8-hour drive through the mountains, arriving at the hotel was the best part. Enjoying a cold beer on a warm night was amazing. The playground, especially the trampoline and fish, delighted my son. Eva, the receptionist, was extremely friendly and helpful, providing valuable information about the region. The atmosphere of the hostel was great, with clean and spacious rooms, multiple chill-out areas, and a proper hotel feel. The Ticino ticket included free transport and museum discounts. Good location near bus stations and free parking on premises. Nice breakfast and free Wi-Fi.

The hostel is located in a convenient location, with easy access to the city center and beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The modern rooms are comfortable and have a pleasant pine scent. The staff are friendly and provide helpful recommendations for restaurants. Guests can also enjoy facilities such as table tennis and fusball.

Limited bathroom facilities, with only one toilet, one shower, and one disabled shower+toilet for multiple rooms.

The hostel had a beautiful garden with pathways, sun loungers, and even a barbecue area. Perfect for families and those looking for relaxation.

I had a fantastic stay at this youth hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving me advice on getting around the city. The breakfast was excellent, with options and even warm milk for my coffee. The gardens around the hostel provided a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. I will definitely stay here again when I visit this city.

Oh, how I loved becoming an expert in bike maintenance during my stay. because bike hire was available but I had to fix them myself!

The hostel had amazing facilities, including a pool and lots of green areas. It was a great accommodation option for my New Year getaway. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The common area was superb with a swimming pool, table tennis, and beach volley. The common bathrooms and showers were always spotless clean.

The hostel was not centrally located, so it required either a bus or a 30-40 minute walk to reach the city center. However, the bus ran frequently and the information provided by the hostel was helpful.
